We woke up at 4:45 am. Mr. Hiralal ji promptly came at 5:00am to let me know that I can go to go to his house down the street to use the bathroom facilities. I took my clothes etc and walked over. His wife was up and waiting for me. I got ready and was offered some tea.  They use milk from their cows and buffalos. They don’t like to use outside milk. I finished my tea and got back to the temple to finish packing. I had second cup of tea in the temple. We started our walk from Bhoinda at 7:05 am. We were stopped for tea at Devendra Rajput’s house for tea at 7:10. We had tea, for me it was third cup, and got on the road.  We were walking along dirt paths through field and some wilderness. There were orange flags some distance apart to show the way. Suddenly we came around a bend and were greater with Narmade Har. There was a farmer who has made that spot as the tea water stop for Parikrama Vasis. We stopped and had tea and continued walking.  We reached Brahmangaon at about 9:45 am. Today is New Moon day. Every New Moon Day in this village they do Kanya Bhojan. they feed all the Kanyas (girls) and others who come to the ashram. There are volunteers who sign up to make the food. Today’s menu was Puri, Subjji (mixed veg curry), Jelebi and Kesari Bhath. Food was good as always. Bit spicy for me. Need to get used to spicy food in this area. Everyone there wanted us to stay for the day but it was too early to stop. We started walking around 11:45.  Sun was getting hot. We had to walk about 8 km to Lakhangaon. Distances are subject to individual discretion. We saw a crudely made swing tied between two trees along the walk path. We sat on it for few minutes. We came to the main road after about an hour’s walk and came across a fairly big village Dawana.  There were many stores and fruit stands. We stopped at the first shop that was selling Sprite. I had one small bottle. Baiju had one Sprite and one salty buttermilk carton. The Sadhus are with us throughout the last three days. We are walking together. We walked few minutes and a gentleman from a store asked us to stop for tea and breakfast. We politely refused and went to the ATM next door to withdraw some cash. The machine gives only large bills, so Baiju went back to the store to ask if he has change. He immediately gave the smaller bills. And insisted that we sit for few minutes. Since we refused tea earlier he asked if we would have some Papaya. He sent one of his workers to get one from the fruit stand nearby. We started talking and saw a picture of Sri Satya Sai Baba in the store. He told us the story of how he became a devotee. We ate few slices of the Papaya and by then his helper made some tea. Tea seems to be the drink of choice. Each time it is only an ounce or less. Sweet as syrup. We drank the tea and then Baiju asked what he sells in the store. His reply was Milk, Paneer, Yogurt, etc.  Just earlier Baiju was wishing to have milk and I was wanting a fruit. So we both got what we were craving. The gentleman’s name is Dilip Tiwari. Everyone along the river route says Narmada Maiya gives you what you want and she will test you as needed. Today is Solar Eclipse at 4:26pm. We need to reach our destination for the night before that time. We started walking again. When I say we now we are six, two of us and the four Sadhus. We reached Lakhangaon Ashram around 1:50. Today we missed lunch. But the brunch and the fruit and several teas were what we had. We washed some clothes. Hand wash. Very little dirt comes off. Sweat gets washed off. Even with soap stains don’t go away. We have to be satisfied at least sweat and some loose dirt is out. We rested through the Solar eclipse.  Then there were Bhajans and Arti in the Hanuman and Shiva temples in the Ashram. Dinner was served after that. Today the food was extremely spicy. By the time we finished dinner and got ready to sleep it was 8:30.  Baiju has been taking work calls in the evenings as needed. Today we finished 17.75 km.
