We woke up around 5:00 am. Around 3:00 or 3:30 Maharaj asked if everyone was warm since we were sleeping outside. I did not hear any noise and went back to sleep. Woke up around 5:30 am and had first cup of Tea before brushing teeth. We took warm bore well water bath outdoors. There was a makeshift bathroom with a cloth over a pipe for me. This is the place where Sita gave birth to Luv and Kush. Narmada River comes here through a canal. There is also a natural warm
Spring where the water is actually hot. We left the place later than our usual time. We walked through Sitavan, passing small villages every so often. Baiju would ask he farmers as to what they are sowing in their fields. We took photos as well. By 12:30 pm we had reached Khedapati Hanuman Mandir Sadavrat Ashram Ratanpur. Today is Eladashi SJ we’re served Sabudana Khichadi and Cchaas (Sweet/Salty Buttermilk). We rested for short time and started walking. Not too many invites for Tea or anything today. We continued walking till about 4:30 pm and then got into the car to drive to Kantaphod. As we approached the village I was thinking that we have not slept in a school so far. We asked if there was an ashram in the village. We were guided to Shree Nandkishore Soni’s shop/home. We got there and asked if there is any place to sleep and have food. He took us to a
School two doors down and showed us classroom number 03. The bathroom was adequate. Then he said come have Tea before dinner. We had Tea. Baiju was on his evening call. We had Tea and went into the classroom to get settled for the night. We did our evening prayers and went for dinner. Dinner was delicious. Simple fresh food. moong Daal, Potatoes and Bell Pepper Subjji with Roti. Soniji is a jeweler. I got Baiju’s necklace fixed. The classroom was simple bare minimum. One small desk for that teacher with one plastic chair and floor mat for the students. We went to bed around 10:00 pm after Baiju’s meetings. Today we walked 18 kms
