We woke up with a nice cup of hot Tea. I am going to miss this Tea. Winter has set in here. Amarkantak is at 3144 ft elevation. We could feel the cold even in the room. There was nice hot water which helped us get ready quickly. We found a place that made Dosa for Breakfast. We ate and left the North Bank of Narmada Maiya. We went to Mai Ki Bagia (Maiya’s Garden). This is where we cross over to the South Bank. The car went over a bridge. We walked around the Kund and Mandir. We dropped some of the Narmada water we have carrying into the Kund and got some water out to refill the bottles. Then we did a small Prayer for the water in the bottles. We came back to the main Mandir for last darshan of the original Kund. Across the street from the Narmada Mandir there are some ancient temples built in 9th Century by Kalchuri Dynasty. Adi Shankarachrayaji also built a Surya Kund (considered to be the original Narmada Kund at that time) and a Shiva Mandir in front of the Kund. The current Narmada Kund is 200 ft. away across the street. We spent about an hour exploring the area, then got in tow car and drove off. We drove till lunch time and started walking after lunch. We walked through some forest area and some small villages.  We reached Khargaon around 5:30 pm. The Narmada Ashram was right off the road.  Maharaj had kept the ashram very clean. The room where we set up for the night was also clean.  As we put our things in the room and took out our sleeping bags, Maharaj told me that I can go in the kitchen and make any Subjji I want. I had the free reign to use what was in the kitchen to make the Subjji. I found Eggplants, Cauliflower, Potatoes, Bell Peppers, Green chilies and Ginger. I used whatever spices they had and made the Subjji. Shortly afterwards Maharaj made Chapatis and we had dinner.  After dinner we went to bed. Today we walked 12.4 kms.
