We woke up, got ready and drove off around 7:30 am. The main road was busy with traffic, so decided to drive for a while and then walk.
Around 9:00 am we came to Punasa Dam. Another Dam built on Narmada Maiya. Water is very still. There is bridge we are going to cross. A little distance away I see a railway bridge as well. Spent a few minutes and started driving again.
Within half an hour we saw an Elephant (chanchal) going by with few Sadhus. I got out of the car and petted her and she gave me verbal blessings. We moved on. We came to small village and stopped for Tea. After that I started walking and within few steps I was asked to stop for Tea. I asked for half cup since one Sadhu Maharaj asked. Quick swig and I started walking. Walked for an hour or so and came across Vishaal Hotel on the roadside. We had lunch and I continued walking. My goal was to reach Sanawad by night fall.
By 4:00 pm I got in the car and we drove to Sanawad. We got to the city by 5:00 pm and found Shree Krishna Palace. I was ready to call it a day. Once I got the room and settled down I decided to stay put and get room service. Food was simple and good. Turned the TV on and watched couple of episodes of old Mahabharat show. Was nice to just unwind and relax. Today I walked 17 kms
